たまたま見つけた。英語のテキストを読み上げてくれるツールらしい。

# apt-get install recite

まずは基本ということで

$ recite This is a pen

いかにも機械が喋りましたよって感じ。

$ recite Is this a pen

疑問文にしても抑揚は付けてくれないようで、普通に読み上げるだけなのね。日本人が聞き分けずらいらしい言葉を並べてみる。

$ recite light right
$ recite cant can

全く違いがわからん(^_^;
